Karmoy Geneology Club is in the process of making an internet accessable listing of the families, past and present, that have lived on Karmoy. The sources for this reconstruction comes from "Bygdebok for Karmoy", "Norges Bebyggelse" (Norway's settlements), Johannes Mjolhus notes, church ledgers, sagas, probate documents and citizens own account of their geneology.
Below you will find a list over all the farms in Karmoy county, and as we get the information ready for the internet it will be listed with a link to the charts below.
On the internet you will only be able to find people that has registered descendants. A more complete listing can be found in our office. If you do not have the possibility to visit  our office you can E-mail us at: slektsforumkarmoy@gmail.com with inquiries of more in depth information.
